Microsoft Edge
Part of the SourceSecure IT deployment pack.
SourceSecure is not listed in the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store. Edge installs extensions from the Chrome Web Store, by policy or by hand, so the Chrome listing is used: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/sourcesecure/bicelplgpeknobhaandbndecidlmeook. A person installing it by hand is asked once to allow extensions from other stores.
- Group Policy: with Microsoft's Edge ADMX templates installed, go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Edge > Extensions > Control which extensions are installed silently, enable it, and add:
bicelplgpeknobhaandbndecidlmeook;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx - Intune: Settings catalog, Microsoft Edge > Extensions > Control which extensions are installed silently, same value.
- No domain: run files/edge-windows.reg as an administrator. It also turns InPrivate off, since extensions do not run in InPrivate windows by default.
Check it at edge://policy and edge://extensions, as in verify.md.
